On November 8th, 2013, Typhoon Haiyan, known as Typhoon Yolanda, was one of the strongest tropical cyclones ever recorded; devastated portions of Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines. It made landfall bringing strong winds and heavy rains that resulted in flooding, landslides, widespread damage, death, and the displacement of millions. Listen to Tacloban Corps Senior Soldier Nonita give a first hand account of her storm experience and the volunteering spirit her and Salvationists around the world have in common during tragic emergency disasters. http://savn.tv/nov8 Excerpts from Bayanihan: The Spirit of Community
